“eleven” is a set of short fictional ident’s based around a new TV brand coming into the country. The concept around it’s creation was to fake filmed footage with a set of panoramic photographs, and mix this with 3d composting. The “camera move” was originally created in After effects. After creating the basic camera motion, the camera was exported to Maya (with AE3D EXPORT by Ryan Gilmore) and used as the camera within Maya. I then created my “blobs” within Maya and rendered them with the camera exported from After effects.

After composting the “blobs” within After Effects, I continued to tweak the camera move in after effects and subsequently updated the camera within Maya before re-rendering. I continued this process until I reached the desired effect. After deliberation on the process, I have decided that this method is not as effective in this circumstance. This is because it took more time to fake the desired camera move, then it would have taken to actually film and edit it.

Autism games was a Swinburne University project I worked on. In this project small teams created sets of video’s and games for children with autism. They were produced on behalf of Swinburne Design, in collaboration with the Bulleen Heights teaching staff. Each game and video focused on a specific area of social difficulty, ours being transactions. In the video above I worked on the modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering.

This is an after effects piece I did in 08. The footage was shot by myself, and textures were made up of a few different royalty free images. The names used are just some of my favourite actors, the entire movie is fictional.
